Your work is great, I love the way your sculptures flow into their surroundings. Lovely!

Thanks for your comment! The Murals you commented on are for a church. Your work is really fascinating.

The last time that I left you a comment I think that I may have painted (no pun intended) a dismal picture of educational opportunities here. It's not that hopeless. It's mainly that any level of education should be obtainable to all that seek it. I don't earn a great deal of money but I can fend for myself beause I did obtain a fairly decent education (which I paid for myself) and I work very hard in a dangerous field, but an advanced degree would make a big difference.

Thanks for the comment on my site Lynmac. I agree - everyone should see and experience the living conditions of the third world - maybe then we would be more sensitive and not feel obliged to buy every unnecessary gadget that we see.

Maybe you are a bit psychic. They say each of us may actually have some sort of sixth sense you know. Yes it is expensive to study here, unless you're very poor, very talented in sports or academics or very rich(well if you're rich it's still expensive but you don't care right?) Here the very poor and the very rich get the help of the government. The very poor get grants and subsidies the rich receive tax advantages and priority. It's the middle class that pay for these things more so than anyone else. I earn too much to receive grants so I would have to obtain loans. Although they are low interest loans, they are still loans. They're are sometimes programs or opportunities for the middle class, but they aren't well advertised and usually are very competitive with few openings. I recently entertained the possibility of an online admission with a prestigous art school in San Francisco, but the tuition is about  $80,000. to obtain a BA. Even with a low interest loan I would need to be hugely successful to live and pay it back comfortably.

I get a tremendous kick out of your work!  It's very original and VERY well done.  The environmental ones spoke to me the most - your sculptures looked most at home there - maybe like shy aliens from Mars that have taken up refuge in the Outback.  Good stuff, Lynmac!

Hey Lynmac - I smiled & lol just now. Yes, I am a Scorpio. November 10. Interested in knowing how you thought so. I wish my sales were more consistent, but I feel blessed to have any. It's really good that you've re-entered art via school. I think formal instruction can only make you a better artist. Wish I could complete mine. Maybe one day soon. Good luck with your exhibition & thanks for adding me as a friend.
