Ashes, Ashes is based on a nursery rhyme investigation as to seminal meanings (Ring around the Rosie was based on the plague and was a "saying" to ward off disease) . . . the pieces represented bodies as they might "disintegrate" if they were in a ring . . . made of pieces of porcelain dolls, doll filling (foam and cotton, sawdust) and rubber doll skin - kind of morbid - but, hey - so is life!!!
