Congratulations on getting work in the cafe and the new gallery. That's a great way to start. I've tried for quite some time to get work in a gallery here. The one gallery I had a solo show in closed suddenly a few years ago in great financial distress. Fortunately I didn't lose work as some others did. Madison can sometimes be a very small town. You mentioned Villas Zoo. The new Children's Zoo that opened there last year is great. Have you been to the Brookfield Zoo? When I was in graduate school at NIU my daughter and I spent a delightful and exhausting day there. That was 30 years ago. I just remember being very impressed. I wish you continued success with your work.
