I have been given the opportunity to teach watercolor at a local art center. I have taught some classes years ago so I have some experience in the field but not much. I was wondering if anyone out there knew what the going rate for teaching a six week class would be. I would like to know if I will be getting paid enough. Or do you have any advise to someone thinking about entering into the art teaching world.

I have been given an opportunity to spend more time with my art and promotion as I am now only working a part time job. This is a new experience for me, but I am excited. And I am love the idea of being among like minded people like yourself so we can support each other and help one another make it in the world of art. Good luck and keep the work flowing.
