I would like to write about you and we can do it several ways should you be interested.
1. You email me a short bio with your telephone number so I can call you to ask you some questions and you email me a picture of yourself and about 7 pictures of your work (in jpeg form only) or you mail it to me with a SASE in which to return your pictures once I scan them. (My address is 100 Dave Wintsch Rd., Munfordville, KY 42765)
Should you be interested we need to work quickly on this because my 2008 slots are filling up.Should you not be interested, just say so and I will cross you off my list of “talented artists to contact”. Either way, please put who’s who in art in the subject line.
Anne, Thank you for your kind remarks about my work. I am happy for you to be able to put your time into art again. I had to put art on hold from time to time because of family as well. You may have noticed that not many men have done this. However, how wonderful to be at it now. Looks like you might be good at writing and illustrating some childrens books. Ever thought of that? Have a great art career. Your farm scenes make me want to travel. Joan
I really enjoyed what you wrote on your profile page...I think that quite a few artists took time off to raise their family. I've been full-time traveling artist back in the 80's...then raised my family, and just got a collection of new work done these past 3-4 years! I haven't sold a thing, because I'm still waiting to put up my sign and mural to open my gallery to the public...so I haven't sold a thing yet! Now, changing the subject...I also really appreciate the fact that you put God first. For me, that's what killed my potential in art galleries, but if I gained the world and lost my soul..what would that be worth...and galleries aren't worth the wood and brick used to build them! I love your work, by the way!
Thanks for the welcome Anne. I too took 20 years off my art to support my family by teaching. Now it's my time ! Completed B.Visual Arts last year and doing Honours this year. I really like your paintings. Keep working !
wow, it worked! I am now able to post images in comment boxes!! I was doing it wrong .. early on someone had told me I needed to go the the tree box (in between the palette and html icons above) and that was where the copy and paste was to take place but its not as complicated as that so I thank you for finally explaining how simple it is. I did post something in the critiques group and even posted again in a blog just because I am so happy to finally know how to do this!
