Everything from opera to country...except for jazz. I just don't get it.

All of Dr. Leo Buscaglia's books. What an amazing human being.

The Rose, Phantom of the Opera, Lion King

My wife and I live in Phoenix and have been married 40 years. Our three children are grown and married and have delighted us with 3 wonderful spouse choices. Our grandchildren Jackson 5 and Samantha 3 are everything grandchildren are supposed to be, and our pride and joy! We downsized 3 1/2 years ago and had to make 32 trips to Goodwill with trucks and cars to get rid of 40 years of collected stuff no one wanted. We live simply and pay cash or don't buy it. My only regret is not having room for a studio at this time. Who knew when we downsized? You can see all of my work with sizes and prices @ www.rockofangels.com

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Tito:

Thank you for your wonderful comments about my work. I really needed that this morning after spending several long days at a mall show with little sales success. I come way from those wondering if I'm doing the right thing and if I'm any good what I do at all. It takes a few days to convince myself again that this is the gift God gave me and I'm suppose to use it and the poor sales are a reflection of the lack of interest in art where I live and the poor economy. Anyway, your comments really lifted my spirits. Thanks.

I love your work as well. Everything has such emotion. It feels very spiritual.

Hey Tito, thanks for the compliments about my florals. Wow, those are the thing I am new at and really wanting to get good at. Just wanted to clarify that we aren't in a "downsizing mess." We WANTED to do this. We think material possessions are over rated and that we just didn't need 3/4 of what we had. lol We wanted to downsize.

Wow, you and your wife did what me and my husband recently did. Too much stuff, downsize. We too didn't contemplate a studio so we are painting out of our dining room instead of having a table and chairs. Eventually we will buy a small shed with windows, etc. (like our large storage shed we just purchased) and use it as a studio! KI really enjoyed your work. Happy Painting!!

I've have gone back an forth through your gallery...I love the color, but I fine myself back at your copper pieces...how you combine both color and metal...very appealing to me...I've try doing a similar effect in my kitchen with cool stainless steel appliance against warm wood cupboards...debmadison

Thank you for the comment on "Uncle Red."  He was bought by an artist who lives in West Virginia.

Your work is really good; I especially like "Infinity."

I have most of Buscaglia's books--some autographed.  We should all follow his lead--every autumn, I feel I should bring the beautiful yellow maple leaves into the house and cover the floor!

Yes, I am trying to be fancy-dancy smart trying to let go of all the stuff we have collected over the years, but I find that I cannot go to antique sales, garage sales and "boutiques" or I will be bringing more stuff in!  I just let go of my Alto mat cutter and donated it to a high school art teacher for her room. That was a blessing! Never used it-I hate cutting mats- and it was sitting in my studio for the last 5 years.  Hope you are successful in attaining that studio you are wishing for.   How is Phoenix this time of year?  It is going to get to a high of 35 here- yippee!!!
