Due to the nature of my Graduate Thesis Exhibition, I am currently reading 1984, with plans to follow that with A Clockwork Orange and then A Brave New World.

I have an MFA in painting, from the Savannah College of Art and Design and a BFA in painting from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. I also studied painting, drawing, and photography in Lucca and Florence, Italy through a study abroad program offered by the Pratt Institute.
Shortly after receiving my BFA, I moved to Spain. I traveled to Madrid and then on to Sevilla, where I lived and worked until the summer of 2003. I worked part time as an English teacher and was able to devote the majority of my free time to painting, traveling throughout Europe, and gathering inspiration for future artwork.
I have exhibited in several fine art and alternative space galleries throughout Cincinnati and Cleveland, Ohio, Covington, Kentucky, Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia. I have also participated in group exhibitions at Miami University, the Pratt Institute, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. In October of 2004 I had my first solo exhibition at the Montserrat Gallery in Soho, New York. My work is featured in several corporate collections throughout Ohio, as well as the permanent collection of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Several of my recent drawings can be viewed at The Drawing Center in New York City and I also have an early drawing held in the permanent collection at the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History.
