To answer your blog:  I show in festivals, gift shops, a co op gallery, eBay, advertise in newspapers, send mail outs, brochures in the local Chamber of Commerce, an occasional gallery show or juried exhibit, open house at my studio.  I find that you cannot put all your eggs in one basket in this business.  Reach out far and wide.

Thanks for your comment.  You've got some great work here.  I especially like your still life and portrait work.  It's cool to see how many different approaches you can take... it's like you have chosen your approach depending on what the subject requires... cool!

In answer to your poll question I said to put the work aside for a couple days, but sometimes I do start over.  I'll either gesso out the parts that aren't working and go from there or just gesso over the whole thing.  Once I even threw out a painting and my husband got all upset.  I reminded him that all my work is "my" work and if something is trash-worthy...well so be it.
