I am experimenting with collage and acrylics at the present time, but I still go back to transparent watercolor and negative painting techniques. As a retired Middle School Art Teacher, I have always explored various techniques to stay one step ahead of my students.
My husband and I opened a frame and art shop in 2000. I continue to teach basic drawing and watercolor skills to small groups here at our shop and work on my own projects in between commissions and other responsibilities.

I quilt when ever I can get a chance. Not too traditional, more crazy patchwork and art quilts. I am not too good at 1/4 inch seams.
