Well - I agree!  If we could truly make a living with our artwork and get to devote everyday to it...that would be the best!

I work full-time, but really devote my off-hours teaching art workshops, donating some of my time to work on my Murals to Promote Community Awareness (MPCA) project at a local baseball stadium in Huntsville, AL - for the Huntsville Stars!

Today is raining...my favorite time to paint and be creative...I wrapped up a wonderful art workshop about 12:30 A.M. this morn...we were having a blast!  Now, I am listening to the Coffee House, XM channel 51, and sipping coffee...getting ready to do some website updates and then, head to my upstairs studio...

My husband is sleeping and our two daughters are too!  Long week for everyone! Ahhhh...for a few more minutes...total and sheer quietness of my own thoughts...

Have a wonderful art-filled weekend...and I really like your artwork, and your  profile comments about life and the pursuit of art, hopefully, being the one source of income AND being content...

Thanks for your kind message. I've been out of touch overnight, but got your message this evening. Haven't learned how to just hit reply yet, so hope you know which note you sent to whom.

Thanks again!

"Procrastinating artist that should spend WAY more time painting."  Me too!

Thank you for that wonderful comment you left me.  My favorite word is authentic, so for you to say my work feels honest is a big deal to me. Your paintings give me an Ed Hopper feeling (who happens to be one of my favorites).  I love your use of space and detail.  The "Palace" piece really stands out to me as I have a love for street art. Thanks 4 visiting me!
