| ABOUT ME |
I am a full-time sculptor going on three years now. I do most of my work by commission and selling at the art fairs. I am trying to establish myself in the art world as a self taught sculptor. My experience comes from 25 years as an Autobody repair technichian. I spent 25 years teaching myself the art of sculpting by sculpting damaged automobiles back to original condition. This taught me both symetry and proportion while giving me practical experience with different materials used in sculpting. I learned metal-smithing, how to use fiberglass, polyesthers and numerous other materials. I often get a lot of questions as to how I made the transition from Automotive repair to sculpting and I explain how it is a very parrellel move.
