The request for information that you've posted on many artist's pages sounds suspiciously like the well-known international art scam:

I apologize if you are indeed legitimate, but I'm sure you will agree  that artists should be cautious, and that nobody should provide the information you have requested without verifying your credentials. 

In order to demonstrate that you are legitimate,  please post a website address and the name, address, and phone number of a verifiable gallery that can confirm your identity.
