Seeing Pink Floyd live a couple times when I was younger somewhat ruined my live show appetite, after those shows no other bands could hold a candle to their brilliance. I listen pimarily to rock and roll in many different styles and forms, from Classic to Indie, alternative to grunge and industrial. As I am getting a little older now and mellowing a bit, my tastes are more toward Dave Mathews, Yeah,Yeah,Yeahs, Neil Young, still Pink Floyd, White Stripes, Moody Blues, REM, System of a Down, NIN, Beck, Radiohead, Bjorke, Janes Addiction and Pearl Jam to name a few.

Fantasy, science fiction, horror and suspense have always been favorite genres of mine. Writers like Stephen King, Clive Barker, Dean Koontz, Piers Anthony, Tolkien and Issac Isomov (please excuse any misspellings here as my photographic memory isn't always 20/20)are some of the authors I've read in the past. Lately I prefer self-improvement reading, pertaining to successful and healthy living.

I really enjoy all of Tim Burtons work, especially when I just want to enjoy eye candy for a spell. I like suspense and horror but not so much the slasher type horrors or the serial killer suspense. Mostly I enjoy inspirational films where the human spirit prevails over adversity. Awakenings is a good example of this type of film, but not neccesarily my favorite.

I am complete when I am creating, and I always try to live in the now. At least for now. If you are curious to know more, just ask, I am also very friendly.

I love the peace of the great outdoors contrasted to the noise of the city. I crave new relationships with positive, intelligent, creative individuals and this keeps me searching for freinds with true integrity. I love to admire beautiful women, not neccesarily Hollywood/Model beautiful but more so women who are aware of and appreciate their own particular beauty. I love to witness the outcome of passionate efforts in any human endeavor, but especially in the world of Art. I love to relax and breath deep, or work hard and relish the burn.

Self-defeat, negativity, egotistical over-inflation, cigarette smoke, war, political favoritism, strong opinions that are contrary to my own, pollution, selfishness, dead animals, reality TV, TV, immature adults, apathy, materialism, envy, foolishness, prudishness, self-righteousness and hot dogs.

In younger days I built a collection of antique bottles by digging in the historical garbage dumps of the Northeast. This was a lifelong favorite hobby of mine, even though it may sound gross to some. Of course most of the organic waste had long ago rotted away since the focus of my collection was pre-1880s. I've also done quite a bit of camping and fishing but I don't really have the heart to go fishing anymore as I keep thinking of how bad it must hurt to be dragged by the lip, kicking and fish-screaming, all the way to the mans' big fat hands. These days I guess you could say my hobbies include playing taxi-cab driver for my teenage children and trying to discourage young boys from wanting to kiss my 13 year old daughter.

You know, I have seen the Moody Blues twice...at the Columbia River Gorge Amphitheatre in Eastern Washington State.  AMAZING!  They played with the Spokane symphony, and I was mesmerized!  I also love Pink Floyd, and I agree that it's an impossible act to follow.  Try ZZ Top sometime, their show will delight you!...blue jean baby!

Thanks, Scott......I needed to hear that today......

Your imagination is really inspiring to me. We are sort of artisically kindred in a surrealistic way...and I love Floyd. :)..talk about surreal.
