Hi Veronica,

Thanks for your recent comments.  The work was inspired by Frederich Hundertwasser's paintings.  He was a fascinating artist, architect and an unusual character.  I was going to use these images in a children's story that has not yet been written.  I will check out your website.  Chagall was a great artist who I much admire.  Maybe an influence there.  Yes, I am Jewish and the King is generic; although, he could be one of the Hebrew Kings (subconscious)... I am working on a website store but it is not up yet, and i too want to sell smaller and print work.  Mazeltov...Tom

Hi - Tom thank you for visiting my page, and for your inspiring remarks.  I used to paint on 22-1/2 x 30", 300 lb fabriano watercolor paper.  I am now currently switiching over to canvas only.

Although at this moment I am currently in a small mode.  I am painting 6"x6" and 8"x10" panels.  I am posting these on my blog to sell at a much cheaper price.  You might check out my blog.  I write about each piece.  Sometimes it is serious, and at times I'm absurd!  - Sometimes I am able to copy the same post from my blog onto this site......www.vescuderoart.blogspot.com

By the way Tom, I have been meaning to ask you about your art.  I really like it a lot.  It reminds me of Chagall.  I'm sure you know which pieces I am talking about - I.E. "King and Princess"  Are they biblical pieces?  Are you Jewish?   Maybe I'm seeing too much into them.  In that painting the palace seems to look like a Mosque, and is that King David?  Oh well, maybe I'm illucinating....let me know..... Either way, I find that title fun and whimsical.  I can really relate to it a lot.

I wish you the best - Veronica
