Thanks for the friend request and the nice comments.  I decided to feature on my site my most recent piece....for no reason other than this way, it was easy to keep track of what should come next!  The "diversity" of my skill sets has seemed to be a blessing and a curse....I am just now learning that variety is NOT what folks want to see in submissions for galleries and shows, and now trying to expand the content of several different titles of work simultaneously....oy.

Your work is beautiful.  Such vibrant colors.  My favorites are The Messenger and Blue Mountains.  The expression on the face of The Messenger is...I don't know just exactly how to describe it, but it is very captivating.  I grew up in Wisconsin, love Madison area, spent alot of time camping in that area.  Your a lucky fellow to live in Wisconsin, it is a marvelous place!  Thanks for sharing your work.

HI Robert:  This work is breathtaking.  Thanks for your nice comments on my page a while ago. It's been a delayed response - had a show a couple of weeks ago, left town - well, you know.  Great to see more of your work! Barbara

Thanks for you comment! Yes--I was lucky/blessed to have been apprenticed for a time with two different artists. With one I started out doing window painting and moved on to murals, and with the other I trained briefly with theatrical work. I have also done some production design. I like your Messenger-especially the colors choices.

Great artwork!  I really like your title...very expressive...perhaps symbolic?  Good to see another art teacher in the community!  Regards,

Kevin
