I love your "Studio Update" in black & white.  Nice work.

It is always interesting to me how we artists all see the world so differently. Your work is fascinating - obscure but enlightening.

Thank you for the invitation to be a friend. I will look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for the wonderful compliments. They made my day. In answer to your question, I had not heard that marker destroyed canvas. Im not sure if it matters or not but the markers are rarely applied directly to the canvas. I usually add the ink layer last, so there is usually layers of paint between that and the ink. Guess I really never thought about it. Thanks again for you nice words. Take care.

OK, My nightmares on your page.  Perhaps a little cathartic, but I am not sure I could have MY Scream 3 on the livingroom wall.

I write about artists in a weekly newspaper column.  Knowing them and their inspirations and obsessions and motivations and realizations has enlightened my life.  I practice photography more than painting.  Time prohibits both.  I am also a full time teacher of gifted English, photography, and broadcasting students in a fine, fine high school.  Mostly when I  paint, I paint women's faces with hair that comes from the environment.  I love the thoughts (and even screams) of your work, but again - especially Scream 2.  It's like reading a whole novel.

Ah, your work is frightening and exciting, and in spite of the abstract
presentation, it is quite controlled.  One never knows what lies beneath
the face we wear, but your own joyous image seems incongruous with what
you express in your work. My Scream 2 is the most expressive of the 4 you offer. It talks to me.

Thanks for the request. I like your work. There's a lot of feeling in it!
