"IF A PAINTING DOES NOT MAKE HUMAN CONTACT, IT IS NOTHING." - Robert Motherwell

I'm 26 years old living in Boston. I come from Poland. I have been living in the USA for 7 years promoting my art work , traveling and teaching art(abstract painting)I work on two kind of paintigs:one is colorful , free, abstract of people and places , and another one is project Art and Science: math, biology, and people in science. I enjoy working on both of them.
I'm a very positive, full of live , and open minded person. I think visual art is a form of communication. I hope you can see in my paintings what kind of person I'm. If you can do that it means we communicate well.

orange and red next to each other,
travel, new places,
old things ( books, houses)
sociology and psychology, SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY
the ocean
bussines

people who think they are better than others...

I agree Tulena,  art/creating for me is the way I reach out to connect to anothers spirit.  I love your abstract portraits, because they make me curious about the person, and I love the colors, so vibrant...

Le Mont Saint-Michel.......extraordinary....I have worked in Geneve (not living but traveling to) for 25 years....decided to take a trip to the Mont...forever wanting to see it, and spent four days ON the Fortress.....What an experience.  By day, so crowded, shoulder to shoulder, and at night....quiet and empty.  Walking around the empty corriders at night with the bay breeze, was a wonderful experience.  When I wanted to take the photograph with my 8x10 camera.....the fisherman was not planning on leaving.....so, he became part of my photograph.  Forever more.......After 20 years of going to french speaking Suisse, I have started to study french 101....three times.  It is so difficult.  I want to live in Paris.....if you look on my website www.garyauerbach.com,  or my page at ASB....you will see much french work.....A bientot.....GA

Thanks for the friend request!  I like the way your surfaces appear to be built up.  They have a great texture and so much ambiguity.  Nice!

You have some cool work!  Just wondering why the fascination with orange next to red? It works really well in your portraits in terms of tension.  Tension between the looseness of your paint application which seems mysterious, and the brightness/warmth of the oranges/reds.   That's how I see it, I like it!  keep up the good work!

I like your work. I also come from a different culture and I know what you mean. We are all the same but we value different things. No doubt our environments shape who we are.

Hi, I am in the Boston area too! You painting titled "In Boston" caught my eye in the gallery. Will you be adding more info to your profile?
