I earned a BA in studio painting from Auburn Univeristy Montgomery. I currently teach a painting class five times a week here in Montgomery. I have primarily worked with acrylics although oils are a great alternative. I love portraiture and regularly donate art to worthwhile causes. Thanks for your comments.  And as you recognized watercolor has unique properties and I find that even the 'lack of control' needs to be controlled as best as possible, and when that happens the water does wonderful things.

y'know, i like to donate some of my work to worthwhile causes, too.  i think the most rewarding was donating a piece to and auction for aids research. that was a profound experience. i noticed some of your work is watercolor also, i find watercolor to be very unforgiving and i admire anyone who can do it.

Thanks for the recent visit and the compliments on my work.  Your piece "Untitled" is my favorite.  I really like the "explosion" of color/energy.

All the best,

Thanks for visiting my page...

I visited you earlier because I had been really struck by the church windows in your painting when I saw it in the Main Gallery.  Just beautiful!!
