Actually, I haven't seen Enchanted, but I can hardly wait!  Our family wants to see it so bad. I love the idea of a cinderella figure coming out of a manhole in Times Square- that's hilarious!

I have been very busy and hopefully, I will see it this weekend.  I am working hard for my show this weekend.  I do not know if I really like to paint under pressure-but I have done it before and it forces you not to have fear.  Just lay that paint down and get to work.  Ha!   I have to do some small pieces for the show for baby boys and baby girls.  So, I am making some cool contemporary crosses, blue for boys, and pink for girls.  It sounds so corny, but they sell. What ever works for me. I should be doing Christmas stuff, but I am requested to do the baby thing instead.  So far, so good. The gal I work with that is helping with my show is a interior designer, and has a good eye for what sells, so I obey her. So,  baby stuff it is! I will post them when I am finished.  Keep painting...

Thanks for the Happy Thanksgiving!!  I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving as well.  We were with family and that is always good.  Have you seen the movie "Enchanted"?

Hi Sandy,  The key on each of my paintings is my signature. I use it like a chop. And it is also fun to work it into the compositiion of each painting. The symbolism of the key can say many different things , but to me it represents the keys to creativity and beauty. you can read into it what ever you wish.

Hi Sandy, Thanks for your coments. I had not seen "Quick as a Cricket" I went to Ammozon and looked it up. I was able to see several of Don Wood's illustrations. Yes they are quite cute. I have a book "Miss Sppiider's Tea Party" by David Kirk which has similar Illystrations.  ...The ;books and illustrations of Brian Froud I find really imaginitive and creative...........Sonja

You will do well- you have a natural gift and the desire to use it.  I love your work.  We are all in this together-isn't it nice to know that while you are painting all alone in your studio or where ever, that there are so many of us doing the same thing, and have the same joys and struggles?

Wow!   I love your work.  I finally quit my full time job as an office manager and am trying to get an art career going.  It has been slow, but I do not regret it.  May your dreams come true!
