Hi Sandy!  I am "coming down" from being with the Burridges and also I just sold a painting that won 2nd place at the Minnesota Watercolor Society Spring show.  I am so happy -I am bursting with joy.  I miss you- whats going on in your world?   I am thinking of you.

Hi Sandy,  I just visited your webpage and saw the Gallery C pictures.  What a beautiful space to exhibit.  Your paintings will look wonderful there and I certainly wish I could be there for the opening today and meet you in person.  Have a wonderful time.  Carmela

You have been busy, girl!  It is spring and that means lots of fun for all of us. I just spent a week with the Burridges and I am flying high.  What a blast that was.  I will be posting new works soon.  I am thinking of you-   me

Thank you Sandy for the nice compliment, Isn't it true we all have our favorite colors. I seem to like the siennas.I really enjoy doing monochromatics, check my web site www.alstonfinearts.com and look at my figures, you'll see what I mean.

Happy painting,Alston

Hi Sandy!  I'm so glad you like my "Enlightenment" piece!  I guess enlightenment feels differently to each of us but as long as we seek it, that's the main thing!  ;)  I'm just happy my piece brings that feeling to people!  Hey, didn't I see one of your paintings in a recent issue of Art Calendar??  Very cool!!

The photo of me and tiger is  about old as dirt; check out the eye makeup.  It was a great day, though.  I took a photographer with me to a wildlife sanctuary and she shot me with the cub, an adolescent lion and an eight year old Bengal.  What a rush!  A day to remember      me
