Statues lend themselves to a "second life". In the next day or so will post two statues effected by digital tools-see what you think.

Only the trees have faces. I have struggled to find a medium and a title that is uniquely mine- that is recognizable. I don't like jumping all over the place with subject matter- it makes me feel like I never get "good" at any one thing.  I love detail, and I love trees, so it seemed like an obvious partnership.  Once I started mixing media ( a very recent change for me)  I suddenly overcame my frustration over which media I should use.  I can't find anyone else on here who does what I'm doing, so maybe this is my niche. I haven't tried to sell one yet. I'm trying to accumulate a body of work to present somewhere.  Thanks for your encouragement. I will stare at the leaf photo for awhile and I know a face will pop out.

Well, I work 8-5pm, so I usually don't get to my drafting table till at least 7-8 pm during the week. I work on two pieces at once so if something in one is tedious I switch back  and forth.  I've been trying to get 2 done each week, but sometimes the rest of my life gets in the way.

Yes, there's a face in all of them- some are more obvious.  If you don't mind me using the leaf picture I'd love to draw it.  I will give you photo credit if it too closely resembles your photograph to be copyright infringement.

Thanks for visiting my site. The tree DOES have a face on the left side- it's funny how some people don't see it at all but to me it is so obvious.
