No..I didnt see the Palace get knocked down. I was pretty bummed even though it had been left abandoned for so long. No, I didnt get ticks...I tried to convince my daughter to go see her w/me but no deal (she,s 17 and still into top 40. I thought it would be cool to expose her to an independent ,free thinking female artist.

I felt the same way when I finished it- why shouldn't you be excited! We both saw something cool in a horses foot and we each used our own abilities to capture it.  Yay for us!

I guess it's all in our perspective. I didn't see an apple at first- I saw a mouth with a ladybug crawling into it.  I'm still staring at the leaf/tree fungus picture, and have two ideas but haven't done anything with it. I also very much enjoy the clydesdale? foot and the colored barkless wood.  I saw a face in that immediately.

Hi- Glad you like my painting of the PALACE ....Yes this place really existed ...it was knocked down last year and condos have replaced it. It was a really cool place to go when I was a kid...they had rides, a haunted house and tons of fun games inside. It actually had the countries oldest operating ferris wheel inside (it came out through the roof) untill it was dismantalled about 20 years ago. We were hoping BRUCE would save it from the wrecking balls since this town is where he started out (and still shows up and does surprise shows once in a while). This painting was done from a photo I took last year. Its pretty much just as it was...i may have made it tad more creepy i guess but not much.
