ABOUT ME
I have worked as a free-lance illustrator and graphic designer, and since 2001, I have been working in my home office creating web-sites, print ads, 3D illustration & animation; pretty much anything that involves images and pixels.

I have also been pursuing painting in down time. I love to go out on location and paint.(plein air) Often, I find it to be very relaxing and quite times of worship. Other times it is a mad race against the sun as it moves across the sky, constantly changing the light and shadows. I also do some studio work from photo reference. Seeing God work, Painting, Being with my wife, anywhere, but especially in the Appalachian mountains, or the Maine coast or the Hill country of Texas, or by the fire on a cold, quiet night.

Wow! Incredible work! I think I too will try the outdoor painting as soon as the snow melts. Loved Mill Stones; you can just feel the autumn in the air. Is Buddy your dog?

Northern Montana is a great place to enjoy life, but this year is a
very cold one. We have three feet of snow on the ground and still
snowing. I would rather paint then shovel snow!

I love horses, so your work caught my eye.  Haven't ridden a horse lately though.  Last time I was rammed into a fence -  Demon horse - and I scraped my leg pretty bad.  Bad, Bad, horsey.  Anyway,  one horse won't spoil my love for them.  Welcome to scuttlebutt!

Currently I am using oils, and having trouble with it. I started years ago with pencil. Love black and white work. Then begin airbrushing (metal panel, vans, motorcycles, T-shirts) Later I spent several years doing some free-lance Illustration with Luma dyes and then acrylics. I like oil, but it is more difficult for me.
