"Andy Warhol" live by David Bowie

I am jealous of musicians. Our culture has accepted music as a much more accessable art. There are promotional networks and millions of dollars backing musicians. Imagine what painters and photographers could do with the kind of money that Justin Timberlake has supporting and marketing him.

That said, I love music, and often use it to set the mood as I paint.

I create art that is visually stimulating and has conceptual substance. My paintings vary between emphasizing on color, content, and texture. I draw on my experience in fine art, graphic design, and art history to create paintings with depth, intending to give the viewer something new with every viewing.

Thanks for the compliment - yep, I'm with you - no title here. I don't have one and the majority say that isn't a good thing, but who cares. All your work is unique and fun, but I like the abstract work (martini on your profile page, keys, etc.) the best. I also can't get a complete body of work put together and the galleries I've talked top around O-town want 10 or more pieces at once. I don't deal with galleries for that reason and instead sell directly to customers. Look forward to seeing more of your stuff.

To answer your poll about why i paint:  For an emotional and creative outlet, to make money and personal therapy.  I am one of those artists who suffocates if I can't paint on a regular basis.

I find myself continually taking a closer look at your work before I know it's you.  Can you tell me about that texture in most/all of your work?  At what point in your work do you lay that on, and anything else you're willing to share about it?
