I am a ceramic and glass artist. My main focus is on custom tile work but I also make stained glass and sand carved glass. Most of my work is commissioned for residential and commercial installation. I work in an church that I bought about 3 years ago. It was built in 1900 and still has many of it's original architectural details like 14' tin ceilings and arts & crafts stained glass windows. It' very cool. I can't help but be inspired! My work area is in the basement and I am currently renovating the sanctuary to be used as a gallery space. Please visit my website to see my work.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I love your work, and your idea to do tiles of peoples faces is absolutely brilliant. My wife and I are building a house up north and I think it would be really nice to have them done as a legacy work. Can you give me an idea of how much something like that would cost?
Cheers
Steve

Thank you!! I love your work! I have never done any work in your medium, but was thinking of doing a mosaic in my home. Do you have a tips for beginners?

Impressive glass and tile work. The background image makes me want to reach out and touch it.  Libby

Sara, thanks for the comment on "Through All Trials."  Your Web site is so attractive - love the horse graphic, the colors, the way it is organized.  Your portrait tiles are so different and great.   I hope you are hugely successful and busy as a bee!  Lucinda

I just checked out your website.  The church is beautiful, with so much potential for your studio/gallery space!  BTW, love the "Layers of Sin" description of the carpeting.  I'll have to check back to keep tabs on your renovations.

I live in St. Louis City (as opposed to the county.)  Did you ever get Ted Drewe's when you were here (it's located on the historical Route 66.)  FANTASTIC custard, if you have a sweet tooth!

Hi sarj259, I look forward to seeing the gallery when you get more done on it.  The jewelry looks good.  You are into many mediums.  I especially like the one on the right, the design really makes it interesting. I like the other one too, but I  always need a necklace that is longer.  Keep in touch, Wanda

Your studio and to-be gallery sound so inspiring!  I'll bet the architecture is fantastic.  I love the character that older buildings have.  Does your website have any photos of your studio?
