My art is simply the emotions of the heart that have been painted into words

Ive always had a cabinet full of paints, crayons, charcoals and paste.

My strong point in painting is human emotions. Actually, if it has a face, I can portray 'feelings'.

I fall in love hard and I hurt deeply. I paint best when I can express myself when I'm ecstatically happy or deeply in pain. So, actually that would mean my art is my diary. What is it 'they' say? Art imitates life?

My strong personal points are my humor, my compassion and my understanding nature.

Eccentric and eclectic, obtuse and illusive, I think/paint outside of the box.

I'm a true Texas artist. Being Native American/Irish I'm very passionate about my art and all those around me that I love.

*A racehorse has to run, a bird has to fly, a teacher has to teach and an artist has to paint.*

There is something within you, that you have to do.

My steady fella and how his eyes shine when he looks at me, kissing in the rain, Old Spice, watermelon, The Cowboys, double rainbows, the full moon, sleeping in thunder storms, sleeping in my fella's t-shirt, sharing the remote control, chocolate cherries, cooking together is hot, winning at strip scrabble, looking at other artists paintings, getting within 12 inches of expensive art in a Museum.. And at the end of the day, its all about the way we make each other feel.

Press #1 for English, bad manners, whiners, bad punctuation, and that 3rd tequilla is pretty ugly.

Painting, biking, skiing, laughing until I snort, fishing, bowling, dominoes, card games, board games, no head games. Last but not least, my new found hobby is airplanes and the man that loves them.

Dear reddwine, Thanks for nice comments on my pastel paintings.

I just read your About Me section and found out we have a great thing in common. I too am a American Indian/Irish. My Dad was a full Mohawk and my mother was a red headed Irish (maiden name Bishop) lass. Thanks again, and keep painting!

Redd- Thanks for the kind words! You paint for all the right reasons- I love that! I agree with you about that third (+) shot of Patron Silver, nothing worse than "going with the feeling" and laying on the carpet 3 hours later "feeling" sorry. Keep doing what you do! -Tom

Thanks for your comment on my mural. I combine the use of photos and whatever pops into my head to connect the views and make it my own.

Hi Barbara, Thanks for the compliment on my imagination, and yes I realize that my work is quite far out. Believe me I'm completely harmless (insane lol)! Just kidding, but seriously I think you do wonderful work as well. Our subject matter is definitely contrasting but I can tell that you put similar energy and attention to detail in to your painting. You are truly passionate in your creativity. Thanks again for stopping by, Scott

Picasso said that painting was like keeping a journal so I say write away. Great job expressing the stories you live
