Thanks for the compliment on my painting "Confessions de coeurs".    I guess it's a new direction I'm taking my painting.

Best wishes to you also, Karen

Hi Gary   Thanks for your comments on my work. Glad to be part of the Scuttlebut network. Your pics look great event though I know little about your methodology. The art scene in Orlando is quite different from NYC where there are ten artists on every street corner. The local Art Museum here, in particular,  is very supportive of local artists and I was fortunate enough to be chosen Artist of the Month and now will haver my first Museum One Man Show in July. This would never happen in the Big Apple. I think my NY experience helped my get ahead here, which is much more laid back, and lacking to a degree in ambition. I haven't gotten there yet.

I'll be watching your site for new works.

Thank you so much for your comments. That image was one of the first I took with the Lensbaby. Hopefully, I've gotten a little better with it but I still like the early ones.

You have wonderful portraits, I'm always very impressed by portrait photographers because I cannot take a decent portrait to save my life.

Thanks again ~ April

Gary.

Stopped by your site and was wondering – (Portraits aside) after you have the plate/poloroids in hand and the development process begins are you conscious of the moment you allow the process to carry you along?

Thanks, for the :)

I enjoy your work there is something so serene about it:)

I had a student turn in a eiffel tower picture for a state art contest.  I have been trying to figure this site.  My computer doesn't like it much.  It becomes very slow when I enter this site.
