Hey, how is Ohio treating you guys?! Looks like you are settling in....

I keep up with your blog and enjoy seeing your new work as you put it up.

We are well. I had two paintings in a juried show in Manassas last month and was asked to write  proposal, so very cool......just doing the next thing I know to do, one step at a time....and Craig got a job with marine corp intelligence.

    Keep in touch...

Hi Steven, Glad you're settling into the Ohio scene. Sounds like the weather is a lot like here in the high dessert; wait five minutes if you don't like it. Let me know when you'll have a chance to chat and welcome back.

    All the Best, David

Hi Steven, love the little Columbus #2 painting on ebay...I was just there yesterday and I'd recognize that skyline anywhere!  Have you been to the Colubus Arts Festival held in June on the riverfront?  If you've spent much time in Columbus then you've been to the Art Hop in the Short North...much fun. Nice work.  ~ellen.

Hi Steven, How are you doing? Back from Vegas I hope, too bad it's so far from Reno. It's nice to see your new work keeping the bar up, is it of the Ohio area?

    Talk to you soon.

    David

Good to hear you are now officially a buckeye!  Fortunately I was one of the few woh did not lose power.  My in-laws outage is still in place.  They were told they will not have power until Sunday!  Needless to say they have been using my home for necessities!
I have never seen anything like Sunday's wind?  Crazy!  Take Care,

    ~Kevin

    Steven,
How are you?  I haven't been on this site in the longest time.  Have you made the move to Ohio yet?  The art scene, well there is a pretty good art scene in Columbus.  The Short North area, especially.  Cincinnati is coming along.  I live near Dayton, and there scene is limited, yet urban renovations to downtown are bringing in more artists/artwork.  Hope all is well, keep up the good work!

Gorgeous clouds, landscapes. Would be interesting to know the sizes, I'm reading them as 'extra large' canvases...

    Hi,

I'm sorry it took me so long to write back.  Work's been busy, as you can tell from my absence.  I recently painted and donated a watercolor to a local nonprofit organization, started working on a new series of smaller watercolors, and pet portraits are picking up!

Your new work is wonderful; Ballygally and Doppler 2 are favorites of mine.  The unusual compositions and the bold brushwork in the grass and clouds are very interesting.  I always enjoy looking at your gallery.
