I'm not much for reading. I always like the books with lots of pictures.

I live in Arizona with my wife and three children (Aubree, Baylee, and Madison). We moved here in July 2007. Prior to that we lived in New Mexico where both my wife and I grew up just south of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

I have done glass work since 1995 and that experience has included everything from windshields to melting glass that I do now. I am forever learning new things with glass. I love to create. Especially when its somthing new.

To answer your question, I have been using Painter Essentials 4 mostly, along with the GIMP. I often take photos for reference, but I like fooling around with compositionand colors a lot. I have been doing this for about 2 years now, first with my son's Kid Pix, then with the GIMP, then with Essentials, which came with my Wacom tablet. I love digital, because it is very freeing; I don't have to spend a lot on supplies for experimants. I do some plein air sometimes, tho.

Thanks for your compliments- nice work yourself!  Your glasswork is beautiful-I hope you are selling.  I am working on marketing all these paintings I have piling up in my studio.  I have had a bit of a snag having my mother just pass away after a long illness, but I am doing well and have found painting these days to be very healing.   Thanks for visiting my website, too!             ;             Deb

Thanks for visiting my page and for the postive comments about my work.  I like your work as well.  I'm represented by a gallery in Sedona called Visions Fine Art Gallery.  I've been working on a commission out of Atlanta, Georgia which involves making white oak leaves.  Please check it out on my blog: www.donnabranchglassstudio.blogspot.com   I have been so involved with working (studio and business side of art) that I forget to post.  Stay in touch.

Those leaves are amazing and delicate. I am curious about the size. Are they the size of an actual leaf?
