I'm not much for reading. I always like the books with lots of pictures.

I live in Arizona with my wife and three children (Aubree, Baylee, and Madison). We moved here in July 2007. Prior to that we lived in New Mexico where both my wife and I grew up just south of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

I have done glass work since 1995 and that experience has included everything from windshields to melting glass that I do now. I am forever learning new things with glass. I love to create. Especially when its somthing new.

Hi I have visited before and I love your work- I just got back from Corning Museum of glass- the sculptures there are pretty amazing. Got to also see a demo in glass blowing. Have you been there its truly an educational and fun experience- and the museum is much better than it used to be.

keep up the god work! chris

Thanks for stopping by! and thank you very much for your nice compliment about the tree. That was a huge, old, almost dead pine tree we had in our yard and we had to take it down. I actually did the sketching for that piece the day before they came to take it down!. I'm really glad you liked it.

Nice work, and thanks for visiting my page.  The red leaf has allot of depth on the web.

I do stay very busy.  Only time will tell about the gallery as I have not been in the Sedona gallery for very long.  From the photos, your leaves are very nice and I definitely think that it is worth it.  You know the old saying: "If you don't believe in yourself, no one else will."  Take heart and give it a shot!  It is a risk, but artists are risk takers.   If you don't want to spend the fuel, send a presentation package by email, mail, or direct the gallery to your web site if you have one.  Check mine out.

The leaves that I'm doing are going to be fairly thick because the gates are 11 feet high and it is an outdoor project.  The project will be installed in the Serenbe Community  As for the slow life, it refers to sustainability incorporated into your everyday life in anyway you can.  Thanks for writing back and please stay in touch.  It's nice to share ideas.

Thanks.  Where do you live?  I am in West Virginia.  Those are my mom's bleeding hearts... have been alive for YEARS.  I shoot with a Nikon D40X when I'm walking around.  I shot it in color and then went into Photoshop and was experimenting with pulling some color out.

 Love your work!

The gallery scene is new for me too.  I have been looking for the past year, but haven't approached too many of them.  Selling myself is not my forte'.  It's really too bad that they are closing some of the galleries in Scottsdale...with the gas prices rising, it makes me wonder if the winter visitors will slow down.  Right now I am trying my luck selling my art on ebay, Yessy.com, artbreak.com and hopefully Etsy.  I've sold a few pieces on ebay, but I am buying more of other peoples' art than I am selling...ughh.

Good luck with your gallery approaching and happy 3 digits back at you!
