I am so happy you enjoy my paintings. I especially like your bowls on stands. And your jewelry pieces are outstanding. Working in 3-D is so different from painting. Your stained glass is also beautiful. You are extremely gifted.

Thanks for the compliment on my painting. I think you create really nice stained glass pieces. My dad when he was alive worked for several years in stained glass.

Thanks for the question David.

I have used The Glass Eye to get the beginning of some of my stained glass designs.  I usually modify those by hand to achieve the detail I want.  I haven't really tried others to create designs.  Although I did use Adobe Photoshop Elements to create the effect you see for the stained glass background I have on this page.

Thank you for your comments-they are encouraging. Did you ever experiment using varied art sofware programs in your work?

Hi Kathleen,

Thank you for your comment on the painting! I have been working a lot (okay, struggling) with light and its effects on color. I think I am at the beginning of that!

Your glass work is so beautiful! I am particularly drawn to your Grand Tetons piece because of the sense of space and atmosphere you've captured. And of course the jewelery I love. Wonderful about your first gallery representation...I am still working towards that.

A question for you if you don't mind...how did you enable links to your website and to your blog (in the about me section)? I'd like to do that too.

Best,

Karen

Hi Kathleen,
Thank you for your comments. I enjoyed looking through your gallery- nice work. I especially enjoyed the Glass Thoughts blog- the topics are very thoughtful as well as thought provoking from a fellow-artist's point of view. I'll look forward to seeing more.
