Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and for your kind words.  Much of the color in this work and most of my abstracts is derived from copper, gold leaf and chemically-induced patinas.  Of course I had to check out your gallery as well.  I enjoyed your work, and, I have to say, my clear favorite is Amaterasu.  I loved the expressive color scheme, composition, textures--this one has  mood that is most striking.

"Amaterasu" is very well done there is alot of intrigue to this painting. "Casting Shadows" is also very well done Ilike effect of color in that piece. Gerry

I browsed you gallery....I love your compositions. I also like to crop compositions in a similar way. Much can be said in the composition as your work shows. The piece "4 Eyes" is a great example.
