Trust you are well, I did read chunks of the 'secrets' booklet.  I like it although, these things tend to be somewhat nonspecific, since it is describing the normally unseen.  Doing some summer traveling?

Yes, "cleanse..." comes from Huxley, who probably stole it from Blake.  I guess one thing I discovered working alot last week was that influences (& inspiration) floods in from everywhere, like it or not, even from the ethers..  We were in an artist's studio admiring such a beautiful blue and vermilion painting.  Glancing out the window we noticed a sign with the same colors, which shocked the painter!  Then, through the other window, you guessed it, the colors from a building worked right into her work.  Not stolen, but certainly artfully used.

The writers there were shocked to discover that "Whiskey" had somehow insinuated itself into several of their works, seemingly from the Collective Consciousness or through some mysterious telepathy....

I guess you know house paint fades...that is probably part of the plan, right? Jackson Pollock did it too, and nobody seems too concerned about his work loosing value. 

Thanks for sharing your "basic pallet" which seems pretty complicated to me, in theory, but perhaps less so in practice.  I might try the same painting from a whole different pallet of greens and get similar results, who knows?  Feeling green inspirations from the yard?

Hi Kara, I had to cancel my Italy trip! Last month was terrible for so many reasons from health issues to financial issues to ex husband issues that it was best to put off going. My son has been there since January and we (my daughters and I) were going to meet him in Rome but as my son put it, Rome has been around a few thousand years and will still be around for a while so it will be there for when I am ready and able to get there.

I saw a lot of artists incorporating collage and stencils this past week...must be cutting edge.  The Vermont Studio Center week was an inspiration, since we are in the habit of collecting and sharing inspirations!  Have a look at my new image...about 4.5x5.5 feet each..
