Everyone has a story to tell and I believe there are many in my photograph “Man In The Church Courtyard”.  I see this man walking around town occasionally but have never talked to him.  It was a cold, cloudy Sunday morning in January when I took this photograph, so a part of your assumption is correct.  He stayed in that position for over 15 minutes while I took the photograph form a distance, never looking up or making a motion.  I myself always wonder if he is praying for something he does not have or something he needs.

The sad part is I watched as the church let out, and not one person form the congregation stopped to speak to this man or offer a hand.  However, you are correct there is hope.

Thank you for the comments.

Thank you for the compliment on my art.  I was reading your profile here, you're a woman after my own heart... "watching Thunderstorms" ... I Love Storms too.  I'll add you to my contacts at flickr also.

I thought something was up.  I noticed the other day that someone
else was apologizing for the word TITLE.  I think there might be
another word that is getting replaced too.

I also noticed that if you try to create a link to your site it will last a little while and then it will just say Link where your website should be.   They must have a few bugs in the HTML for this site.

I see that you now have some close ups of your work.  It really shows off your S T Y L E.

Kara - thanks for the comments and for visiting my page. Someone else tried typing "title" a bunch of times and Scuttlebutt changed it every time to "title"...it was hilarious...you could tell how frustrated she was by the number of times she posted a new comment just trying to type that one word : )

Keep on creating and we'll see you around these pages sometime soon!

I considered naming this "For Kara"- but my older daughter gets a kick out of being in on the naming process- and she's moving this week so she hasn't had a chance to look at it yet.  It was definately inspired by your tree photo-  Thanks.

Thanks for commenting on my piece. I love your thoughts on it. It's actually crackle paste on canvas with collaged oriental papers, acrylic washes and the rock and wire were added last.

Thanks, Carlynne

The Giverny photos are almost too beautiful to be REAL.
