An artist living and working in New England, Gregory paints landscapes using vivid and extrodinary colors. He describes his work as expressionist, after the movement that arose around the time of World War One. He has been influenced by their subjectgation of realism in favor of the use of form and color to portray stronger feeling, imaginary scenes or symbols their work.

Gregory also sculpts, and this discipline has influenced his approach to the simplification of forms in his painting.

Hi top friend, I did not see any hospital listing in the magazine but I only looked after you sent your note to me. What page is it on?

Thanks for the comment on PMM painting. twighlight can sometimes be hard to capture because of the color changes. Guess I hit that one pretty good.

On the subject of adding the beach to my composition. Actually I have placed beaches in some of my work. However, most of the time I feel it's more useful as an interesting frame to contain the more interesting water. Now the beach itself does make for a very interesting subject on its' own, but I like the rocks because the waves continue to exert energy and life as they attempt to change the rocks into sand. This is what I like to capture. Once this feat has been accomplished, the sand becomes a stronger adversary and absorbs the waves before contact and removes its' might thereby nullifying the exquisite and magnificent energy that started somewhere beyond the shore.

I am working on getting settled in.  It ain't easy when you are obsessive compulsive; I am going like a steam engine.  Have an old damaged painting to repair, a commission, invitation to an exhibit and selling on eBay.  Really want to start on a series I have planned out and do another no face doll.  Can't keep up with eMail right now. Cat's on the roof; got to go.  me

My studio is called Dryadart, because I have a Celtic affinity (being a displaced Welsh woman) for trees as spiritual beings, and was named for the tree spirit, generally I get along better with trees than with people truth be told...  I make dryad images, I just don't have any posted on my page, I'll see if I have images, they're not what I would consider to be "my work" as such, just images that balance out the negativity I can end up channeling in my "serious" stuff.

WOW!  Came to your page... and music, art, people, fun stuff!  I want music on my page.  What a party page!  Can I join?  By the way, if you think you have more snow to shovel in VT, you need to visit MN.  Way too cold this year and way too much snow.....AHHHHHHHHHH!            &nb sp;   And, what's this about bad boy???   Just wondering.... Deb

yesterday a gold star appeared out of no where like magic, after I commented on several gallery pieces. It has absolutely no meaning whatsoever other than I use this website alot you know. I also was an early member to join so I have probably invested way more hours than a normal person should!

I had to cancel my big trip next week and without getting into my personal life details.  my son who is almost 21 said to me "Rome has been around for thousands of years and I am sure it will be there when ever we are ready to plan another visit". Dont you love when your children are smarter  about life than you?
