An artist living and working in New England, Gregory paints landscapes using vivid and extrodinary colors. He describes his work as expressionist, after the movement that arose around the time of World War One. He has been influenced by their subjectgation of realism in favor of the use of form and color to portray stronger feeling, imaginary scenes or symbols their work.

Gregory also sculpts, and this discipline has influenced his approach to the simplification of forms in his painting.

I really like your play kitchens! I used to really like Fantastic Planet too. I liked the weirdness of it and the soundtrack, which fit so well.

The grizzly photo was taken just before I started running the other direction.  Just kidding!  I took artistic liberties with that one.  me

First there would have to be some classes. Ringing the bell is a mandatory part of the visit for any studio guests. It actually belongs to my husband. It seemed like I fair deal, I get the church and he gets the bell. I have a picture of it somewhere. I'll post it next time I come across it.

I love your functional art section. It's my favorite approach to art. I especially loved the wood floors.

you asked what the red is that i used in the shadow.  i underpaint w/ acrylic in many of my paintings.  usually some shade of red.  in this case, my acrylics were running low, so i mixed any reds that i had.  which reminds me, i've got to get more!
