I have been painting for about 8 years now, and just began working full-time as an artist in September 2007 when my husband and I created Goble Studios. My first artistic passion is working in watercolors, which I studied in college, and have won awards both at the national level and the local level. I also find enjoyment in providing graphite pet portraits for pet lovers of many kinds, and painting murals, both in homes and businesses.
I am a member of the Watercolor USA Honor Society and the Lancaster County Art Association.

I invite you to visit my websites to learn more about myself and Goble Studios, and to enjoy more of my artwork.

Painting and drawing of course (although it is a job at times). Camping, hiking, and biking with my husband, playing with our dogs, running, playing piano, activities with church, just looking at the world around me.

Great work.  I really enjoy the detail that you get in your watercolors.

Congratulations! You're one of the few watercolor artists that I respect.  Have a good one.

Thanks for your kind words.

I know what you mean about the detail making you crazy. That is one reason I started plein air- it forces some simplification of detail. You ususlly have to be done with a plein air peice in 2 hours, 3 at the most, unless it is overcast. The light changes alot in 3 hours. I've enjoyed it because it has helped me to see color a little differently. It is a great learning tool. Plus, it is really a lot of fun. Especially if you can find a quiet place off the beaten path.

It has taken 40 years to get to where I am today and IT FEELS GREAT. Lots of sacrifice and tenacity. Remember to treat clients with integrity, treat your work like a business and never quit. The perspective in your mural is wonderful - difficult form many artists.
