thanks. I mostly painted abstracts and about 3 years ago tried plein air painting and loved it. Now I am known as the plein air finger painter around here! AH! actually just recently sold one of my last brush pieces! All I have left now are the finger paintings. I am hoping to get my "wo-di" site updated soon. I have alot of work not on there and most of what is is sold! YEAH!!!
Keep up the great work. Can't wait to see more of your work!

really like the simplicity in your landscapes and use of color. Welcome!

That's pretty cool. I have never worked in gold leaf.  I have some stored someplace here in the studio, but, I would spend a good deal of time trying to find it-bought it along time ago.  Haven't used it.  But, your work looks like it has gold leaf in it - I like the combination of the gold and silver together.  Warm and cool side by side.  Now, I am on a mission to try and find where I put mine and to see what things I can make with it.   Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for checking out my blog.  I didn't always have a studio, but I always painted and made a space to paint.  I've painted in many different locations in our various houses.  I appreciate what you're saying about where you paint!  Good luck with your commission piece.  I'll be painting again soon, the school year is winding down. (14 days left, but who's counting?)  I've got a few paintings going right now, just haven't had time to finish them.  Mary Ann

Thanks for the blog comment.  I couldn't get too mad with her, she was only like 100!  Seriously, I don't know what she was doing out solo.  She must've gotton lost from the group.  But, I am still sick, still working, still trucking along.  Larengitis is setting in though.  Don't know how well customers are going to respond to that today.  That frame will cost you ... as my voice conviently drops out!

I just saw your 2 newest paintings and love the simplicity and flowing qualities in both of them. Last summer I purchased a book with paintings by Wolf Kahn and I did a bunch of simple landscapes with the idea that less was more although because of your neuteral color choices I think your paintings are much more effective.

Thanks for stopping by my page. You have incrediable work throughout your gallery. You seem to have a good grasp of both realism and abstraction. They say that realist artists sometimes make the best abstract painters!~Mike

thanks for you comments, About the circles I use to use them alot a while back and then strayed, but I'm stepping into a new directions and taking that risk always feels better for me to bring something along that is a familar site or item.  Keep the great direction your going in.

Thanks.  Yes, I've been mostly painting butterflies for the past year and a half.  I did landscapes for a long period of time before that.  Slowly but surely I am getting things posted everywhere.
