Though I recently made a decision to pursue a career as a fine artist, creativity has always been my passion.
Growing up in Providence, Rhode Island, I majored in art at Hope High School.
After a 10-year creative hiatus, I have returned to my passion for art.
When I am painting, I enjoy every moment of what I call my “Creative Sessions”.
In my everyday life I am a planning and organizing fanatic; however during my Creative sessions I appreciate the
spontaneity of following my spirit and allowing her to guide me. It is during those times that I am able to bring forth to the
visible level that which is conceived in my conscious/subconscious, emotional level.

Music moves me emotionaly and I always play music while I'm painting. As a Mobile DJ my music collection includes many genres of
music from which I can select. I believe that art, like music is a language that unites people and has the power to create,
mold and change emotions. Most importantly they bridge gaps between people from different backgrounds, races and
beliefs.
I love experimenting with color combinations and paint textures. Color stimulates ones
overall emotions while texture affects a person’s sense of touch and feel. My current collection consist of
abstract art (acrylic on canvas and board) however; I’ve also created mixed media, oil on wood and still life paintings.

At this time in my creative life I am enjoying the diversity in freedom of expression. You can expect to see my work in a few selected
genres.
