Thanks for the comment on Maize. The last person to comment said she reminded him of chocolate. She is actually a 36" porcelain table top mounted on an antique pedestal leg. There are a few pictures of my studio on my website but brace yourself. It was a "rental church" and has been pretty seriously neglected. A couple of days ago I made the mistake of wishing out loud that I wouldn't have any commissions for a couple of months (I was already booked through the end of May). I made the comment to my husband in the morning, that night a client walked in and asked me to do two more tile projects for his lodge. I'm not complaining but I was hoping to have some time this summer to work on the gallery renovations. The ceiling is 14' with it's original tin. The stained glass windows are still there and the floor is maple, under red indoor/outdoor carpet, linoleum and tar paper. It was built in 1900. Renovation is one of my many hobbies. We are also restoring a 122 year old Victorian. It's a wonder I have any time to work. Where in St. Louis do you live? My husband worked as a travel nurse for 5 years and he spent about two of them in St. Louis so I have been there several times. It's nice to meet you.
