Thanks for the comment/compliment on my watercolor painting "The Dancers".

I checked out your gallery. - I love the "flowing" quality that shows up in many of your pieces.  Beautiful work!

That particular mask comes from the island of Maui. When my brother was stationed at Pearl Harbor he sent me that one, as well as one each from the islands of Oahu and Hawaii.   -Don

Catherine, Thanks for your comments on "Intrepid" and "But It's a Dry Heat". I like your "gateway at the summit" analogy. Did you happen to notice that both paintings you commented on were of the same mask? It's one of my favorites which I've immortalized in paint a total of 4 times, so far. I've only painted one other mask more times (7).  Keep up that beautiful work...and, I gotta tell ya', if you're not "a master of line work", you're pretty darn close.   -Don

Nice Elephant! I like the texture.. and the composition!

No, I had a different photo on my background before, so I do change it often, anyways. It's good to change it up once in a while. Thanks for your comment!

Hey, thanks for letting me know how the eye effected you! It is a bit bold for a background. I have changed it a few times. Variety and change is good. I'll be putting a new image up again, soon.
