Thanks for your comment! I can tell that you are from Arizona by the lighting in your work. You capture that light and feel very well. I have relatives in the Phoenix area.

Hi!

I too like to paint people and figures so I can really appreciate your work.

I like how you are able to capture mood, expression, and especially light in your work.

The blue stripes on the man's shirt are well painted!

Thanks for your comment on Silent Scream...it was one of those paintings that forced its way out and wanted to be...I guess I was just feeling that way and needed to show it! I would not put it in my own bedroom...can't blame you there!

Hi~

Thanks for visiting my page.  My vision for my artwork is exactly what you said: taking notice of everyday objects and making them worthy of attention.  There are so many things to see in everyday life that are easy to take for granted: the way light plays on objects, shadows, colors, objects.  Outlet, like many of the other watercolors on my page, is a watercolor on 22"x30" Arches cold-press paper.

I really enjoyed looking through your gallery.  You have such freedom with your brush, and I can tell you're not afraid of color.
