| ABOUT ME |
Hello, my name is Faith and I have always been interested in the arts, but have only recently discovered i can paint. My first painting was the one in my gallery called Riverpool i did in August of 07 and i still think it's my best yet. My cousin wanted me to paint him a river scene. I told him not to expect much because i have never painted before. To my surprise i was actually doing a good job. It was not easy in any way but considering how proud i was afterward and the fact that i can actually paint has turned me on to maybe the idea of a career in painting. All of the paintings in my gallery are just paintings i've done for family members. I am currently working on a new series of paintings that are a lot different from what i have done this past year. They will be more contemporary with a theme of nature. Oh one important fact i forgot to mention. All of my paintings are 2-D. Most all of the rocks in my paintings are raised from 3-10 centimeters. I think it gives it a little extra when the viewer sees part of the painting coming out at them. However that is one thing i find hard to capture when taking photos of my paintings. |
