Thank you for such a nice and wonderful message.  I knew there was a wonderful person behind these visions.  You definitely must add some of that to your site.  I am convinced that a major part of the love artists receive from their following is the result of a personal connection to the art AND the artist.  Generally, I enjoy the response to my work, but what makes an admirer, a collector is often the personal touch that I offer when I let them know more about me and I let them tell me more about themselves which often reveals why they emotionally connect with a piece.

I see that you, like me, did not fill out the turn-offs panel.  I usually intentionally don't hold onto negativity long enough for me to devote a panel to it.  However, as I was writing one of my turnoffs came to mind and that is the tendency for professionals and critics to deny others accessibility to art.  So many people I tlak to are so fearful of their judgment regarding art because they have been told that they cannot discern good from bad art. And so much about art is about the emotional connection -- how it touches a viewer.  "You like what you like."  We can talk about technique and application all we want, but what touches another is determined by that other, not a third person dictating beauty.

In any event, my point it this:  Your work becomes even more beautiful when you reveal more of yourself. (That's not true of everyone of course).  LOL

Wow, what a fun site.  The range of your titles is amazing. You should have more about yourself in your profiles. I'd like to know what inspires you to such diversity in vision and execution.  Thank you for paying me a visit.  Feel free to drop by any time.

Hey there lady,

Thanks for stopping by and peeking at the pic's,  You mentioned that you teach too? What do you teach, as of what kind of art?  Also it looks as thought you paint some large pieces.  I myself am venturing in that directions too.

Artfitz,
Thanks for stopping by my page. I assume the humor you found in my work was probably from either "Dragula" or "Creature Feature". I'm glad you enjoyed the work and possibly even got a good laugh! After all we are supposed to have fun doing this right? By the way I really dig your figure illustrations. Your jewelry work is truly impressive.

I like the figure drawings and the jewelry...have you tried or considered selling your jewelry on etsy.com? If not you should really look at it. I have friends who sell work through there and do ok... Keep up the good work - Erika
