I love life and people and believe you can do anything if you want to badly enough

Happy people, beautiful sunsets, listening to the waves of the ocean (he he, and I live in the desert)

negative people

painting, traveling, listening to music

Thanks, I am never good a tooting my own horn.  I know others who do well at it, and they do seem to have an elevated success level.  I guess I always thought it was a little snobby though.  I know I need to get over it.

thanks alston. you should see the place where i painted for 24 years. an old farm house on a dead end road with no indoor plumbing. had to use artificial light all the time because the rooms were so dark. if the desire is strong enough one could paint in a closet.....tom

I dunno; where we live now, the tornados seem to go around.

Thanks! I had to play with those gate colors a while to see what worked.

I love your flowers, especially the Iris and Poppies.

Thanks for leaving me a comment.

Thanks for your comment on "Old Man  Resting".  Ecuador is a beautiful place.  I visited a winery today that had a couple of pieces on the wall similar to your "Old Bacchus".  My husband and I studied them for quite a while.  Seeing yours tonight reminds me of our pleasant outing today.  Libby

Hello Alston, I just came back from the 2008 Glass and Bead Expo in Las Vegas.  Regardless, I can get some of your work off this site if you want for my next column.  I could use a larger picture of you in jpeg sent to me as an attachment.  Plus a small bio and an address and telephone where future non-computerized buyers can reach you at. Do you have a home studio or what.  Tell me in a seperate email a little about yourself.

"Tread the Earth Lightly" & in the meantime
may your day be filled with...
Peace, Light, and Love,
