I love Art and anything to do with art. I love creating things! I love cameras and dream of owning one day a Twin lens Reflex...I have my eye on a few. I am currently a student studying Art and Business at Brigham Young University-Idaho. I love it here and will be sad to leave after this semester. I graduate with my Associates Degree and will be heading home to the southland, finally! I am extremely anxious to return to the South.

I was born and raised Southern and grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. I hope to eventually own my own Photography Business or perhaps a hair salon. I want to locate my business in Georgia or Tennessee. But before I do that I want to travel the world. I would love to work for National Geographic for a while.

Let me know what you think about my skills and what I could improve on. I don't have all the lastest programs, but am working on getting some in the near, near furture. If you have ANY tips at all, I would greatly appreciate feedback! Thanks!

Battleship, Dodegeball, Ultimate Frisbee, Sketching, Reading, Photography, Traveling, anything to do with water!

You were asking about my piece called Mystery Mountain.  It's a collagraph which is a form of printmaking.  It's basically a print made from a collage.  It's a very exciting process that always excites me because of the unexpected things that can happen when you put it throught the press.

Thanks for visiting my page and taking the time to send your nice comments on my musical painting.  I got started doing them because my son is a musician however he doesn't play the violin or cello but sings in a rock band.  Once I got started I found I really enjoyed painting instruments.

I look forward to seeing more of your photography.

Hey Ash - That colorful red and orange piece was done on June 1, 2008 (It only took a day) I know that clearly because I placed the date that I finished it above the closed door like an address. Also the painting from Greece was done a few days prior to One Door Closed. All of these newer works are for the Charleston House gallery ( www.charlestonhouseframing.com) here in town. I'll be doing many more landscapes like the Greek rendering as well as the midwest highway piece. (I am not sure if Cedar Pocket was in Utah or not but I would bet that it is. ) Peace - Jared

Hey ash- here's another one of your kind (photographers) - NikonGirl24 - you can find her new images in the "main gallery" tab. She uploaded several but you'll know you have the right person if you find a picture of a Master Lock that's B&W with some color added in places. Let me know what you think. - Jared

Actually I've been " playing "with art for a while. But I have only become really serious ( because of time restraints) about it since I retired. I am self taught but very passionate about it.

Thank you for your interest.
