The melodic rock band Pilot Speed. Check them out on My Space. www.myspace.com/pilotspeed

Eckhart Tolle's two books. I read these a year or two ago and think they are both very good. I just read "The Memory Keepers Daughter". It was very well written but the main character annoyed me.

Loving the series 'John Adams' at present.

I paint large colorful works, many of musical instruments such as cellos and saxophones. I also love collagraph printmaking. I currently live in Atlanta, GA. I moved there a year ago and love the weather and trees.

Visit my blog www.nonakedwalls.blogspot.com and you can see photos of my painting and printmaking processes. I have a draw each month for free goodies if you sign up for blog updates. I also post new works there as I finish them.

I have work in art collections in NZ, Canada, the UK and USA. My musical paintings have been used as posters for musical events in countries as far apart as Australia and Switzerland which is fun.

I love unusual stylish art, good interior design, interesting architecture, spicy vegetarian food and fruity NZ white wines

Pretentiousness, snobbery and mean spirited people.

Looking at and making art, reading, talking about interesting ideas like 'the meaning of life', real estate and home renovation.

Thanks for dropping by Susanne and your comment is appreciated!  Your work is wonderful harmony, both visually and in color! Music is universal and your artwork reflects that.  I love your use of green!

Hello Susanne,

Thank you for your comment on my work. I am in the process of shifting from repesentational images, to more expressive pieces. I am happy to see they are being well received.

Your work has so much depth to it, it is amazing. I love the color ranges. My family is a group of musicians, so I especially appreciate the lyrical movement of each piece.

Hi Susanne,

nice to meet you.  Was surprised to get a message from anyone.  I'm still figuring out how to navigate this site properly.  Yes that was a good win we had the othernite over Ozzie with the rugby and then with the league too last nite.  I'm at Doubtless Bay in the Far North.  Atlanta Wow!  My Dad's sister has lived there since after WW2.  I was named after her oldest daughter Diane except I have 2 ns in my name so feel so much more priviledged.  I'm yet to meet my first cousins which I think all still live somewhere in Atlanta close to their Mum.  My husband and I spent 3mths in the US earlier this year but more on the west side than east.  I'm gonna go check out the art now.  Bye

Hi Susanne,

I enjoy reading your blog and following your work.  It seems like you blog site is having some problems similar to mine with subscriptions.  I' tried to subscribe to your blog, but got an error.  Didn't know if you knew.  I've been unable to get mine fixed.

Just had to stop by to see your gallery again.  Beautiful things.

Your works are beautiful. "Mysterious Mountain" is certainly the proper name for it There is a lot of mystery just looking at it. Awesome work! Gerry
