I discovered mosaics about 4 years ago and have been utterly in love, swept up, and a-swoon (not a word, but should be) ever since!

Hi!  I've been to SO many art shows and have seen So much mosaic work and I do love much of it, but yours is exquisite!  I really like how you use color.  Tamara

Thank you Susan, it's so much fun connecting with kindred artistic spirits!  12 angry men is also one of my favorites, I also love anything Will Ferrel does....Ron Burgundy is such a classic...we could definitely go to the movies together!  Have you seen Sweeny Todd?  I don't like blood and gore, but it is getting rave reveues here in LA.....Have a great weekend! Sandy

PS  Shop Girl is another one of my favorites,   Steve Martin is extremely talented and that was a very vulnerable movie....best, sandy

HI Susan, I love your work!  and I also see we both love The Princess Bride!  i think it is the only movie I've ever willingly seen more than 3 times...It always cracks me up!

I love your work, very beautiful and complex.  Keep it going! Sandy

You can certainly use my sage and ... (can't think of another word) words on your website. I am in the early stages of getting a website up. Hoping to work a trade, rather than pay someone to make me one. Truth be told, I wish my flickr site would suffice, but other artists tell me it's not the same as having my own website. So ... any advice for a first-time webbie?

Thanks Susan,  I like being the Tim Burton comparison. Very Artsy Cool.

Hey.... Can I quote you on the comment you made about Cityafire?

I added your words to my .com

Please let me know if it's okay. I linked back to your flickr site as a thank you. I can change the link to something else. Do you have an official website?

It occurred to me this morning what your mosaic reminds me of. The tendril-like roots remind me of Tim Burton's A Corpse Bride"(or whatever it's called!). Very cool! I bet you didn't expect *that* connection! ;-)

I think one of the things I like most about mosaics is the incredibly huge body of knowledge/info there is. It's challenging--each new project--but especially installations, which is why your project struck me as so ambitious!

Thanks for your suggestions to my blog. I've made changes based on your recommendations. Thank you. Excellent tips. Mo's are not my specialty but I like them. I appreciate your expert advise. Thanks again.

Susan, I posted a blog about the mosaic. Check it out. Maybe that will spark more conversation in your direction...

I'd like to hear more about how you create your works ... What you use for pieces, color, grout I just think they are fabulous.
