Thank you for the blog invite....As for your question, I find that I want to visit a "Friend's" page again, and if they aren't there it is hard to find them...As the site has grown it is too hard to just look through the gallery to see that person who had an image you wanted to see, or ask something of.

As far as stars, I think they appear for each 100 comments posted.

So a friends note is on your way....

But what about "best friends"  thats pretty juvenile too, but regardless, I am still enjoying the Butt.

Thanks for commenting on the new art. The ransom letters in my painting I thought appropriate since I feel it was a small crime for Auburn University Montgomery to take away half my scholarship without much more that an angry professors opinion. The wording is fairly clever, I think - "i,AM,deceived" can be interpreted as I (the artist) was deceived by AUM or (as delineated by the commas) "I, Auburn Montgomery (AM), deceived". I'm a dork, I know, but what more can a young student do to a mega-money-magnet like a university?! Jared

Thanks for your comment on my Denali Highway painting. The Denali Highway is actually some distance to the south of the National Park, views are different, in some ways less spectacular, but it is more accessible, and there is a lot of great sky. I hope you got some wonderful photographs in the park and on your visit to AK. I just rode down to Anchorage from Fairbanks today, good thing I wasn't driving, gave me a chance to do quick sketches as the scenery flowed by. Those lovely mountains, even the smaller ones still snowy, wind blowing the snow off into big sprays from the summits, into a pale blue grey sky. You gotta come here off season sometime.

Awesome!  Do you still use a darkroom, or have you gone digital?  Either way, you are exceptional!

HI Molly!  Thanks for visiting my gallery.  I just  joined this site a few days agao.  The artworks here are magnificant!  Funny you should ask about the east coast as just yesterday we were beginning to plan our trip to PA in late May early June.  My Mother is having a 90th birthday gala celebration on May 31st so the entire family, coast to coast, as well as friends will be there.  Just tryng to decide whether to drive or fly.

Your photography is wonderful!  Do you ever come to the southwest to photograph?  This is REALLY the place for black/white photos with the shapes and shadows.

Nice to meet you!
