Just finished reading all three of Julia Cameron's Artist Way books and have been sharing an on line blog with 19 women and we are now working with the Sound of Paper. I also have been dabbling in to REX RAY's book about collage works he's done. And headed into the book Art and Fear

I watch alot of movies, but grown out of the scary ones.

I'm a Collage and papermaking artist. I also teach and demo's on Collage and papermaking. I do outdoor fairs and I'm building up the courage to start seeking galleries. But I'm doing pretty good with the little local cafe and artist guilds and leagues. I enjoy my walks in the woods for meditation in motions. I have 4 teens still living at home 2 in college and 2 soon to be. The Homestead is a busy place and loving every minute of it.

What is your Teaching Philosophy?
My philosophy as an art instructor is to help student understand making art is a process and that through the process they will be exploring, experimenting, evolving and honing in on their own visual perspective of the world around them. I strongly feel art is about events happening in our every day lives and to capture that emotion, sound, color, taste, texture and perspective of your view is what becomes the artist's challenge, to seek and express. So I hope that I can inspire my students to do just that.

people who complain alot, are negetive and gossip.

Walking in the woods, resale shoppping, and hitting the dollar stores.

Well just posting were I'm at these days.  I have a couple of workshops scheduled for Oct of this year and I need to set up a little display at the location to help promote them,so that's where I have to head out to.  I just finish a very tough but rewarding weekend having my own Outdoor Studio Exhibit.  I had two weeks to get it together and it worked.  I felt like I was building a field of dreams things.  Sending out emails postcards, newspaper articles and word of mouth.  I will do this again next year and make it an annual thing. The weather was good, no wonderful so I feel very blessed to have had this experience.  Now this weekend an opening at the gallery I'm at in the City of Chicaog.  1932 s. Halsted.  4Art inc gallery.  At the end of the month there is a big Gallery walk.  38th annual Pilsen Chicago Art district.  Should be a good time.

Thanks for the comments on my photography, and the photograph was of an old car sitting in a junk yard.  It had the word "SOLD" on the wind shield.

I had submitted a cd and intention letter to Ox bow in Michigan and was not excepted but I had something in the making if that happend.  I am going to have an Annual Outdoor Studio Exhibit and I invited my Cousin to join me the same weekend as our town festival.  The block off this one street and people come down my street more often when this happens so I have been wanting to take advantage of the opportunity.  I have sent out postcards, had signage made up and I'm going to do a demo each day.  If it works then I'll do it every year.  I have two white artist tents and plenty of display panels.  Which me luck Sept 5,6,7th.

I am impressed with the amount and topics you cover.  You are absolutely right, I am learning so much, archival/paper work, you learn something new every minute!  I really like how you tackled the toes in your collage - painting with paper...nice work and your efforts show~!~
